THE HARD TRUTHS OF CHRISTIANITY
I hope you will read this book, especially as a new Christian, for the sooner you know about these hard truths the better off you will be, emotionally, spiritually, intellectually, and relationally with the Lord Jesus. However, regardless of the amount of time you have spent in the Kingdom of God, the longer you do not know these truths the longer you will suffer blindly, be fearful and anxious, and be held back from your fullest potential in Christ. Let’s get started. There isn’t a moment to lose.
First, have you considered what it means to live a Christian life? Do you know it is an adventure and not a destination? Do you fully comprehend that you are, and will be, living under God's rule and rules, for the rest of your life? That could be for a few years or many decades! When you became a Christian, you started a journey that will last the remainder of your earthly life.
There is more to being a Christian than being born-again, trusting in Jesus as your Savior, saying the sinner's prayer and meaning it, being baptized, or any of the rest of the milestones along the initiation process.
Rest assured, live the Christian life is an adventure, as exciting as any good fictional story. Did anyone ever tell you that before? Maybe you were encouraged to believe that your troubles would cease once you gave your heart of God. I hope that no one actually told you that as a Christian you would be exempt from the most severe problems and obstacles of life. Of course, that is what many choose to believe about Christianity.
But Not Here!
